Diameter of Venus
With the knowledge of the Venus orbit speed and equation (5) you calculate the orbit radius of the Venus to Rv = 0.8971*1011 m. Now it is possible to determine with equation (4) the true diameter of the Venus:
Dvw = 17,270 km.
This value can be reviewed with the photos, I took at the times 13:03:41 and 13:13:22 o'clock Central European Summer Time. During this time interval the Venus moves around its half diameter. With the help of the determined orbit speed you obtain a value of 17,895 km.
Both values have the same order of magnitude, but however are systematically inaccurate (too large). The too small calculated orbit radius of the Venus has to be held responsible for this fact (see error analysis ).
